Common Questions
Is the food really made fresh when I order?
Yes. Curries are finished in the pan, naan is flipped fresh, and rice is spooned out hot once your order comes in. Nothing is sitting frozen waiting to be reheated.
Do you use freezers or microwaves at all?
Not for your food. No frozen entrees, no microwaves, no heat lamps. Every order is cooked to order.
If it is made fresh, how is it still fast?
Prep is done in-house every morning and we cook on five clay tandoors, so fresh food still comes out in minutes.
How is that different from other fast food?
Most fast food is frozen and reheated. We cook from scratch. It costs a little more and takes a little longer, and it tastes like it.
Why We Bother
Freezing and reheating is cheaper and easier. It also flattens the flavor and the texture of everything it touches. We would rather keep it fresh. Always fresh, served fast, no shortcuts. That is the whole point.
